Lavender Martini Soap

Lavender and tangy lemon and orange zests atop middle notes of spicy bergamot, mint with a base note of rosewood. This luxurious soap has a warm and refreshing scent that leaves a light linger on your skin. Coconut, olive and palm oils combine to provide great moisturizing properties.

Soap Ingredients: Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Olive Oil, Water, Lye (NaOH), Kaolin Clay, Fragrance, Castor Oil, Sodium Lactate, Titanium Dioxide, Purple Mica

The Mountainville Lavender Martini
1 ounce (30 ml) Vodka
1/2 ounce (15 ml)
Fresh Lemon Juice 1/4 ounce (7.5 ml)
Lavender Syrup (recipe follows)
Ice Cubes
Lavender Sprig (for garnish)
Lemon Twist (optional, for garnish)

Lavender Syrup: 1 cup (240 ml) Water 1 cup (200 g) Sugar 2 tablespoons Dried Lavender Buds

Instructions: Make the Lavender Syrup: In a saucepan, combine water, sugar and bring to simmer over medium heat until all sugar is dissolved and the mixture has a syrupy consistancy. Turn off heat and add dried lavender buds. Let it cool to room temperature, then strain out the lavender buds and store the syrup in the refrigerator.

Prepare the Martini: In a cocktail shaker, combine vodka, fresh lemon juice, and lavender syrup. Add ice cubes and shake well for about 10-15 seconds to chill the mixture.

Serve: Strain the mixture into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a lavender sprig and a lemon twist if desired.
